Moore CPR
Moore CPR is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that delivers accessible CPR and AED training and promotes community-wide awareness. The initiative is led by brothers Hudson and Beckett Moore, whose personal heart health journeys inspired the mission.
At the age of 15, Hudson—the older brother by 20 months—was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome (WPW) during a free heart screening conducted by the Championship Hearts Foundation. WPW is a rare condition caused by an extra electrical pathway in the heart that can trigger dangerously fast rhythms and even sudden cardiac arrest. Hudson underwent surgery to ablate the extra pathway, restoring his heart to normal rhythm. Today, he lives a normal, active life and is passionate about raising awareness for heart screenings, CPR, and AED programs.

Nearly two years later, Beckett also faced a life-threatening heart event. At age 14, he experienced sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) during a strength and conditioning camp for football. Beckett collapsed unexpectedly, but an athletic trainer and the school principal acted quickly, performing CPR for over 20 minutes until emergency medical technicians (EMTs) arrived. His heartbeat was restored using an automated external defibrillator (AED). Beckett spent nine days in the hospital and later received an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator as a precaution. Today, he also enjoys a healthy, active life.

These two powerful experiences—Hudson’s diagnosis and successful surgery, followed by Beckett’s survival of sudden cardiac arrest—drive Moore CPR’s mission. Together, Hudson and Beckett advocate for free heart screenings through the Championship Hearts Foundation and lead efforts to deliver accessible CPR and AED training and promote community-wide awareness.
